Event Details

Experience the exquisite taste of  famous Hervey Bay seafood  harvested from the waters  of the Fraser Coast at the  inaugural  Tastes of the Bay.

Celebrity Chef Andrew Mirosch of  Restaurant Lurleens at Sirromet  Mt.Cotton Winery has designed a menu around  the iconic Hervey Bay scallops , spectacular deepwater king prawns from the Swains Reef, sweet  Moreton Bay Bugs and succulent spanner crabs.

Sustainably harvested by the local commercial fishing fleet. Executive  Chef Andrew Mirosch  invites you to experience these Tastes of the Bay.

BAKED  BLACK SESAME CRUSTED HERVEY BAY  SCALLOPS ON  THE HALF SHELL

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY + PURCHASE

  1. This is confirmation of booking and payment  for the Taste of the Bay seafood lunch at  the session as selected upon application. This  TICKET  MUST be presented at a General Admission Gate and AGAIN AT THE TASTES OF THE BAY AT YOUR DESIGNATED SESSION TIME. No Exceptions.
  2. This ticket entitles you to:
    - 1 x $2  general gate admission fee  to the 2010 Fraser Lions Hervey Bay Seafood Festival,
    - Entry form  into the lucky gate prize draw (must be present at draw to claim prize)
    - Upon presentation of ticket  ENTRY TO YOUR SELECTED SESSION IN  the reserved seating area Tastes of the Bay with Executive Chef Andrew Mirosch.
  3. No discounts apply. Students/children are charged at the full rate. Children must be supervised. No highchair facilities
  4. No Refunds or Session Exchanges permitted.
  5. Patron are required to arrive  10 minutes  prior to   selected session and wait  to be seated by staff.
  6. Each session runs for 1.5 hours (90 minutes)  total. Patrons must exit the seated area at the completion of the meal seating time. Late arrivals will not be entitled to extra time. (TOB closes 12:30  to 1 P.M for resetting)
  7. Food from outside vendors is not permitted in the seated area.
  8. Tickets are not available on the day. Pre-purchased seats only and “extra” people on the day of the event will not be permitted into the seated area.
  9. The Hervey Bay Seafood Festival reserve the right to refuse entry to any intoxicated patrons
  10. This event is an outdoor venue, as such this dining area is open air. If this event is cancelled due to weather restrictions ticket holders may be entitled to partial refund determined at the discretion of organising committee.
